In 2021 + 2022, Done+Dusted produced and directed the live broadcast of the spectacular 20 minute ceremony that opens the final game of the prestigious President’s Cup, an annual tournament put on by the United Arab Emirates Football Association. 

In association with our long-time partner Progress Productions, we build up even more hype for a highly-anticipated game. We use lasers and light shows, audio-visual effects, and a bevy of pyrotechnics to create an electric atmosphere for over 20,000 football fans in the stadium and audiences watching at home. We also produce the post-match award ceremony, attended by sheikhs and UEFA officials.

UAEFA President’s Cup Final

On May 9th, 2025, Done+Dusted transformed Abu Dhabi’s Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium into a powerful showcase of football, innovation, and Emirati spirit; for the UAE’s President’s Cup Final. 

Bringing together creative direction, live show production, stadium branding, and operations, D+D crafted an experience that celebrated the UAE’s Year of Community with impact and imagination. 

The ceremony opened with a short film, produced by D+D, tracing the journey of an Emirati boy from childhood to manhood, united by a lifelong love of football – setting the tone for the evening. This atmosphere was realised in-stadium through the integration of Audience LED’s, creating a dynamic canvas within the fans.

For Done+Dusted, the President’s Cup Final stands as the pinnacle of the UAE footballing calendar, and we are honoured to have produced the show three times in five years. It is a national moment where creativity, culture, and sport converge, delivering an experience fans and athletes will remember for years to come.
