2025 Laureus World Sports Awards
For a quarter-century, the Laureus World Sports Awards has stood as the premier global celebration of athletic excellence—and in 2025, the landmark 25th edition of the show marked a moment of reflection, celebration, and historic achievement. Hosted at the majestic Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid, Spain on April 21, 2025, this year’s event was also a milestone for Done+Dusted, proudly celebrating 20 years of producing this iconic ceremony.
From Simone Biles tying Serena Williams’ record for the most Laureus wins by a female athlete, to Mondo Duplantis literally raising the bar, and Rebeca Andrade redefining resilience, the night honored not only champions, but the stories and spirits that inspire global audiences.
Hosted by Olympic gold medalist and skiing icon Lindsey Vonn, the ceremony brought together sporting legends like Novak Djokovic, Kelly Slater, Spain’s own Rafa Nadal and the who’s who of past and present athletes in a stunning tribute to the sport stars who didn’t just win medals—but changed the game.
Done+Dusted’s role spanned creative direction and full show production, crafting a ceremony that blended live storytelling, cinematic visuals, and heartfelt moments. With founding patron, Richemont, and partners IWC Schaffhausen and Montblanc, the 2025 Laureus Awards was more than a celebration—it was a legacy moment.
Here’s to the next 25 years of sport, spirit, and storytelling.
