David Blaine: Ascension

We partnered with magician and master illusionist David Blaine to stream his most daring stunt to date live on YouTube. Millions tuned in to see Blaine’s childhood dream become a reality, as he rose into the air, supported at nearly 25,000 feet by nothing but a bundle of helium balloons. 

At peak elevation he released himself, freefalling 18,000 feet before he engaged a parachute and landed safely. It was a massive challenge for a magician to undertake, and a nearly equal challenge for a production company to prepare and capture. It took months of innovation and hard work, and the results were pure magic.
