That’s a Wrap On the 46th Kennedy Center Honors!

Done+Dusted produced the awards ceremony fêting the 46th class of the Kennedy Center Honors December 2nd in Washington D.C. This year's recipients were singer Dionne Warwick; comedian and actor Billy Crystal; rapper, singer, and actress Queen Latifah; opera singer Renée Fleming; and Bee Gees musician and singer-songwriter Barry Gibbs. 

2017 Kennedy Center Honoree Gloria Estefan hosted, and surprise celebrity guests included Warwick collaborator and legendary producer Clive Davis, Billy Crystal's fellow comedian and Oscars host Whoopi Goldberg, actress Meg Ryan, actor Robert DiNero, actress Kerry Washington, Queen Latifah fan (and rap legend in her own right) Missy Elliott, and actress Sigourney Weaver.

Musical moments included covers of some of Warwick's most beloved songs by Mickey Guyton, Cynthia Erivo, and Chloe Bailey, an original rap about Billy Crystal by Lin-Manuel Miranda, a quartet performance of Fleming's signature "Song to the Moon" from the opera Rusalka, a performance of "You'll Never Walk Alone" from Fleming's film Carousel by Christine Baranski, Titus Burgess, and Susan Graham, and songs from Gibb's impressive portfolio from Little Big Town, Michael Bublé, and Ariana DeBose. 

The ceremony also honored influential figures in the recipients' life no longer with us, including Queen Latifah's mother Rita Owens, Billy Crystal's friend Robin Williams, and Bee Gees bandmates (and Gibbs' brothers) Robin and Maurice Gibbs.
