A Legendary Christmas LOS ANGELES 2018
It’s beginning to look a lot like a Legendary Christmas. John Legend got in early and put his stamp on the holiday season with his very own Christmas special on NBC, after his performance on the network’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center.
In one segment on Legendary Christmas, the EGOT champ teamed up with Meghan Trainor, Raphael Saadiq, Jane Lynch and Darren Criss for some good-natured neighborhood Christmas caroling, door-knocking and general yuletide shenanigans. Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen also hammed it up with their young family for a retro-inspired scene where they got a surprise from Stevie Wonder. Wonder performed "What Christmas Means to Me" with his host and the house band, while a steady flow of celebs popped in to visit the Legend house, including Kim Kardashian West, the "Voice" co-stars, Zach Galifianakis and others. The soul singer also debuted the music video for the toe-tapping track "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" with Esperanza Spalding, who is featured alongside Wonder on Legend's new album A Legendary Christmas.
The show leaves audiences asking today's biggest question: When will there be a John & Chrissy sitcom?!
