YouTube Dear Class of 2020 Nominated for Streamy Award!

Last week, Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter unveiled the nominees for the 2020 YouTube Streamy Awards in which YouTube Dear Class of 2020 received a nomination for outstanding Live Special. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Streamys.

The 2020 ceremony will feature new honors in which past winners will craft unique and personal tributes to creators whose work has personally resonated with them. Other creators will be recognized for making impactful contributions throughout 2020 by pushing limits, inspiring connection in a year of isolation and influencing creative works and diverse voices across race, gender and culture.

Dear Class of 2020 shattered records, making it the most-viewed YouTube originals live event to date upon its release in June and featured commencement addresses from Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, BTS, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and more, as well as performances by BTS, Katy Perry, Meghan Thee Stallion and Latin American group CNCO. The show is nominated for a Streamy alongside Travis Scott and Fortnite Present: Astronomical, Some Good News Prom with Billie Eilish, Jonas Brothers, & Chance the Rapper, and others.

The event will stream exclusively on YouTube on December 13 at YouTube.com/Streamys. You can find the full list of nominees here: https://www.streamys.org/nominees-winners/10th-annual-nominees/
