Hamish Hamilton Nominated for Emmy Award

Hamish Hamilton has been nominated for an Emmy Award for directing the 2015 OSCARS. D+D would like to Congratulate to the whole team involved with this wonderful production and everyone nominated in the category.

Hamish’s year truly began with a bang; first the Super Bowl Half Time Show starring Katy Perry and Missy Elliot, a show that smashed all ratings records to become the most watched show in US TV history (120 million viewers) then The 87th Academy Awards, his third time featuring the epic Glory Performance and Lady Gaga's take on "The Sound Of Music". This is all after Directing / Executive Producing the first ever Victoria’s Secret Swim Special in Puerto Rico which gave viewers a rare glimpse into the world of VS Swim

Hamish has 2 BAFTA Awards to his name, a Peabody Award for recognising excellence in public service in journalism for CNN Heroes and both Grammy and Emmy nominations. His name features on 30 million DVD boxes around the world. There isn't any contemporary performer he hasn't had the honour and pleasure to work with.

Hamish began his directing career in Scotland working for the BBC, he has since travelled far and wide shooting documentaries, concert films and awards shows on every continent.
